Part of a warrior statue upper torso. The statue is smaller than life size. The warrior wears a cuirass and holds in his hand a shield. His hair falls in curling locks over his shoulders and retains traces of red colour.

It is thought that the warrior comes from a group of statues to which also belongs Athena's effigy preserved in fragments (Ακρ. 293, Ακρ. 658 and Ακρ. 162) and is accordingly interpreted as a Giant who fights in the Gigantomachy.

The worn marble’s surface is probably due to the torching of the Acropolis by the Persians in 480 BC.
